Sleep... What not to do.
What better time to blog about what not to do when it comes to sleep other than at 1:00am on a Monday night? I am the king at not sleeping - not something I am proud of because I am sure a lot of us realize how bad it really is for our bodies. I was clinically diagnosed with insomnia at a young age, so not sleeping is something I am used to. It has gotten better with age and some months are better than others. I can wake up at five in the morning and have a full day of being busy and still not be able to sleep before midnight. Sleep is very important for our overall health - it's the fuel our brains need. Getting a full night of sleep helps with or cognitive function as well as our physical state, especially if we did any sort of physical activity that day it is important for recovery.
